 Re: My New Borel Boat
So yall are buying yalls lawnmower motors designed to perform in shallow water, making getting to the duck holes easier, based off of the way it loooks?

 Re: My New Borel Boat
Picked the motor up Friday. Put a couple hours on it Saturday. It's been a long process but definitely worth while. Ran 27 MPH in deep water. About what I expected for a stock motor on a large boat. Gonna get some run time on the motor before I add any mods.
Got it ready just in time for Bass spawn on Sam Raybun Lake.

 Re: My New Borel Boat
Thx......I just got the boat back together. I had it clear coated. When I first had the boat painted I didn't want the clear. I thought it would stand out and make it harder to hide and it probably will but after seeing a few boats with it I really like it. All thats left is modding the motor. I have a box full of parts. Just need to find the time to install them.

 Re: My New Borel Boat
I plan to install my ported heads and intake, roller rockers, mikuni carb. and Cross over exhaust for now. I have a custom grind Dyno Cams camshaft, BPS rods and Arias pistons but will not be installing them at this time. If I can get the boat to run a solid 30mph loaded with the above mods I will be happy. If I can't the cam, rods and pistons will get installed.
