But if it looked like that I wouldn't buy it. It is connecting too low on the motor to transfer weight to the trailer and in fact is putting more stress on the skeg (also the thinnest metal on Lu). As for strapping to trailer if boat is strapped to trailer it shouldn't be an issue. Did you notice side to side motion when he shook it at the end? And lastly the trailering lock is part of motor frame. If it is like my old mer it is Just an extra pin that takes some weight off the trim not the transom. |
