Exhaust you've got 3 options, gutted stock, MM, or bps "Q" Since you have hydro reverse, I don't recommend MM for you, because you'd need to put a big dent in the bottom can to keep heat off your hydro cylinder. Try the free route 1st, & gut that stocker. If you decide later that you want a MM, I'd be glad to sell you one, but want you to know about the cylinder issue up front.

I thaught about gutting the stock muffler but coming from a mechanic back ground figured it would cause a backfire issue with no baffles ?

Thanks for the info team camo cuz im gonna put a k&n air filter on it to help out with intake air flow the noise factor doesnt bother me as much as if it would back fire from not having baffles

Can also drill some 1" to 1-1/4" holes in the 4 corners of the metal plate of the breather box to let more airflow in.

Preston, how long have you been using the heat shield, & has it given you ANY issues? Reason I ask is I hate to turn away a customer, but would rather be honest with people & lose a sale, than take their money knowing they're buying something that's just gonna cause them trouble.

Location doesn't show up on Tapatalk. Another vote for Calen.

Only way to do it cheaper is to DIY. Buy the ss valves & do your own heads, & gut your exhaust. All the cams will cost close to the same. You can piece together a carb kit & save a lil, but do a lot more leg work rounding up parts.

If you want cheap do as camo said, for the heads get the valves and just bring the heads somewhere to have them shaved and a valve job done. Than just gut the exhaust and buy a cam will be it.
