Its to fake people out as to which is the real transom . The 2 boxes need a back, i guess it was easier to put a full piece of alum across the back. I may put a hatch door in the middle later

Yah it's on the motor. Boat will be picked up next Saturday but as soon as I get it home I'm turning it over to apply gator base/gator glide. That's a 3-4 day process for curing. Looks like I will be breaking it in while turkey hunting on the 23rd.

how much did you buy from gator glide to do the boat?

This is the 3rd boat I've done with it. The last two were a gallon apiece of the g2 gator glide. They have since come out with a base called gator base. It's supposed to be the way to go, so I ordered a half gallon of base and half gallon of g2.

I did an 18x52 with the half gallon kit and it was plenty. 1/2 gal base coat 1/2 gal gator glide.

what are pros and cons?

Everything good in my book. Just make sure u have a good strap on it during trailering an don't unhook it till the boat is in the water.

No cons on the water. It slides over logs, grass, mud unbelievably well. Just slides off the trailer unbelievably well, too!

had it for about 9 hours and already cutting holes in stuff. Team Camo told me there was only one baffle on the outlet pipe, so i cut it out and cut the baffle off. Also cut the pipe out that connects the chambers. Welded her back in and ready to mount now. Woulda put an after pic but with the heat shield on it looks just like it did before, just with a lil bubble gum around it.

Holy crap!!! I didn't tell you to whack it open, I just told you it only had the one baffle, lol

I tbought the ends needed to be cut off to remove the baffle.

picked up the boat today. Really impressed with the quality. Mike and his staff are cool as can be. turned it over and put the gator base on it. Gator glide tomorrow and mount the 25 tomorrow afternoon.

How long is the rake?

Like the diagonal bracing of the transom and structural bracing of the front deck. Mikes doing a hell of a job on his boats. The cross bracing of the stringers looks solid as well.

Been working on it all morning. Pretty much all that's left is bottomland paint and hydro turf, then tidying up the wiring in the battery box. Fixin to hit the water.

Really impressed with the combo. Got about an hour and a half in by myself. Saw 28 steady and 29 was pretty constant in skinny water, but skinny water is hard to find around here right now.

Awsome speed out of that 25. I am impressed, mainly because I haven't herd anything bad yet just really good reviews so far. How did that exhaust sound

Can you fit a shotgun under the front deck storage compartment?
Can you lock the front hatch ?
Is the rear seat really functional during navigation or do you just stand up?

Exhaust ain't much different, just a tad louder. You can fit guns under the front deck, and plenty more too. No latch but i may add one like the ones on the rear boxes. The rear seat is something i added. Need a short pedestal to make it perfect but yeah its easy to sit and drive. Just stopped by Sears and picked up 2 rolls of the fake hydro turf. Gonna install it and finish up the paint soon
