 Added a HD Coming out good so far, should have it done by tomorrow. It was a tall transom which my longtail didn't like so much. I had the cavitation plate bent as much as possible just to keep it in the water. Instead of cutting the transom down I went ahead and tried to do it the right way with the motor bracket lowered to 15" on the new hunt deck. Will update with performance reviews after this weekend.

Jesus you bent the Chit out of that thing. It never did that when I had it on my boat.... Are you sure the boat you bought was a short transom or is it a tall? That motor was for a short.

Re: Added a HD Looks good. Should help getting on plane winch it adds to the total bottom square footage. Not to mention if done air tight extra floatation. Keep us posted on results
