Also I bought some plastic netting from lowes that I'm gonna ziptie to the frame and I guess will leave the bottom loose to the water line and maybe put some pieces of PVC with holes drilled at the water line and attach the bottom of the avery real grass to that. Seem like it will work r what? Any suggestions

Got the straps from academy. Cut the buckles off and screwed them to the frame.

Better to have bigger holes r smaller ones? I know the stuff ur talking about. Seen some green one at lowes. It's more like a flat role with the squares cut out. I just need something strong enough to support of the weight of the avery fast grass

I bought my backing from lowes also I got the black sunscreen material in the garden section ive had it on 4 different boats and it tought as shit and it will stop the cold ass wind from blowing throught it i just use zip tie for the fast grass and raffia grass.
