Re: Just messing around With just me around 19 -20. A little while back with somr kinda badass current I picked up right close to 28 going down river. It was kinda scary. U throw another person and a cooler in, like 12 mph. I need a different hull bad

Re: Just messing around Like I said the the 28 mph was going down a smaller flooded river with extreme current. Later that night when I had 2 other guys and we were coming back up river it was more like 4 mph

Re: Just messing around My 23 home built SD (cam, crossover, mikuni) on my old 1648 mod-v, with just me(165) and 6 gals of gas and other misc gear, would run 25mph all day long. Seems like you should be faster than that. I picked up 4 mph by just changing the pulley ratio from a 1.5:1 to a 1.12:1. Might be something to look into.

Re: Just messing around ive got a short transom 1548 with a 27 mb on it and the only thing is slowing down with short transoms. im gettin somewhere in the 25-27 range with mine and its stock. im sure that 23 is putting more out more hp than my stock 27. also, do you have the weight balanced in that hull. i moved my gas tank up front and battery to the back and picked up 2 mph with 3 people in it. just thinking here
