You know, a guy tries to careful how he presents things to his wife. It started out like this last week while watching TV on the couch:

Wife: Hey, my two aunts are coming next week to help me get rid of stuff we don't need to de-clutter the house now that the kids are gone.

Me: I mumble something like ok.

Forward to this week. We are sitting on the couch and I'm reviewing this thread trying to figure out when is the 27th...Oh, its this weekend...great!!

Me: I'm going to the camp this weekend and a bunch of us are riding around in the mud in Henderson.

Wife: No you're not.

Me: What?

Wife: I told you last week I need your help with the garage sale this weekend.

Me: You didn't say anything about a garage sale this weekend.

Wife: yes I told you, my aunts are coming to help me get rid of stuff.

Me: But you said nothing about a garage sale where strangers would be showing up at my house early in the morning.

Wife: Well, you should have known what I meant.

Me: Can't the three of you handle it without me?

Wife: No, now go finish installing those damn columns you've been messing with, the ones I told you to hire someone to install.
