 Things that piss you off...
My wife just got a job working a makeup retail store after searching for 3 months and finally is getting in the swing of things after moving to a larger city. She told me the other day that everyone she works with is on stamps and It was brought up that she should do the same thing because I dont draw any income except for what I can get on the weekends when I'm not in class. (22 hours over this summer) Both her and I have too much pride to go that route and I can do some stuff on the side like this weekend I went and worked an expo show for a call company Im associated with and made a little selling calls and products at the show, Its better than manual labor which I have no problem with, but is mentally draining instead of physically because you talk to 1500+ people and listen to their story about how they once called in a yote, missed one, shot one, or even just saw one. If you have worked a booth you know the routine, trying to talk to everyone that walks by hoping they'll be interested in your products enough to tell you one of their stories and possibly buy a product. I actually like going and doing the expo's but the hours and people really wear ya down. Anyways I kills me to see guys like this in the link that just take the easy route and piggy back on the gumberment for every little necessity while others who go the honest way are scratching by every month. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/08 ... s-awesome/Carry on....

I gotta agree with dguidry on this one! You're not the kind of guy that would make it a 'way of life.' I watched that report on Fox News last night, and I wanted to slap that fucking white niqqer!

That's where I'm referring to, pintail! Just passed Hammond, and it's moving a little better now. Still only 70 mph though...

No, SD....you totally missed that one. Definetly not trying to insult you. I certainly understand and get the "forum" talk where emphasis and humor can sometimes be misinterpreted. It was strictly directed at Dean...in humor of course, and not an insult to him. He loves the attention everybody gives him. You do know he is an attorney? I appreciate your effort/willingness/ability to pay your own way. We need more folks like you in this country. I know EXACTLY what you are going through! Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Wake up ! What do you think that and all the other free loaders vote for ? Don't blame them for taking the easy way that is how all the younger people think. Go to any school and ask the students they will tell you how the world owes them. The sad part is you guys don't even have fuck all in taxes to pay. If you think it's fucked up now wait till they start milking that new health care system. You all will spend more on that than anything. I pay way more in taxes in Canada but that ok because I don't pay anything to duck hunt want to bitch about somthing try paying 5.40 for a gallon of gas.

Re: Things that piss you off...
People who show up on my pipeline and cant run any of the survey equipment or a fucking computer or cant take the hills.... I also cant stand people who show up on the job LATE and complain the entire time. I am VERY detailed on the scope of the job before hiring anyone.
I also get people from LA and TX and FL that up and quit on me all the time because they cant handle the terrain and the long hours. Sorry fellas you gots to work for your money up here in Yankeeville....
On the flip side I cant handle the heat in the south !!HAHA
Fat chicks with cute faces has to be a close second....Why do they let themselves go??

How did I miss this post?
Absolutely one of the best posts I have seen anywhere in a very long time.
I am proud of the things you wrote, and I agree with you. Don't take a nickel from the bastards, because they will own you once you get it.
I got out of the Army to attend college and ROTC, and those were some tough years. I painted houses, did sheet rock finishing, did punch out work, landscaping, and one winter when times got real rough, I gutted and skinned deer for minimum wage to get by on.
We ate the deer I shot and the fish I caught, and we grew much of our own vegetables. If times got real lean, I sold or pawned a gun, but I was always able to get them back.
Keep after it, and one day you will look back with pride that you did it on your own.
My hat is off to you.
