Post scissor blind makeover
Well I had a little time today to completly redo my blind. I didnt like my other blind at all and after pin posted his, figure try to go with sumtin like that so here she is, still gotta paint the new grass. But its much more efficient for me, because I can literally drop the whole thing in 10 seconds. Made way with that pin bs and used some buckles.

Mais, there you go like dat. I have a trick I can show you to make it even easier to set up and take down. Cut two 3' x 1" tubing and fashion a hook on both ends of each. Use this to secure the top opening instead of a strap. Use adjustable straps at the four corners to tighten and adjust tension and height of longitudinal bars. Some times you may want the bar behind you higher than the one in front.

One its all tight you can literally lean on a bar and nothing moves....very secure.

To take down quick,y. Loosen bow and transom strap on one side and unhook the hooed cross bars and the whole thing drops. To pick up, hook one longitudinal bar with a crossbar, pull it up and hook other side. If two people in blind you can do this in unison. If Alone, front then back. I've experimented with all configurations imaginable. This is by far the best,

I used boat bow eye clips like on your winch on your trailer. Think they were 2.50 a piece at Wally World. Used those for the ends to hold most of the weight. And a couple buckle straps for the middle.
