As did most, I had higher expectations for the BIG release today... Better camera, 64 bit processor, fingerprint scanner. Looks like I will be picking up the S4 active!

No doubt. I test drove it for two weeks and it's the most advanced phone on the market (including the 5s) IMO.

yea I am disappointed also... I've waited 6 months now for the new phone to be released instead of getting a 5... my 4 is on its last leg

They better get with the program, I like the Galaxys but rather the iPhone. Guess I'll be waiting some more.

Apple is holding some serious 'game changing' patents. They will recover but it won't be this year (as far as phones).

All they need now is a waterproof/impact proof phone like the galaxy.

I had my 5 in a life proof and shattered my screen...

I got mine soaked through a pinhole in the screencover of a lifeproof.

I've had from the original iPhone and this is first one I have shattered

I gotta say the lifeproof saved my phone when I rolled my boat the other weekend. That's the only time I use and it payed off!

Going to keep using my 4 until it either breaks or they release the 6 next year. Apple is not the same without Steve. As a MCSE I rather Apple products of Windows. I know that is computers, but I do love my iPhone ... will just see what Tim cooks (pun intended) up for a iphone 6

I think Microsoft is about to be king, they didn't buy out Nokia just to spend money...

What I want is for someone to team with Garmin and make a handheld that has a phone as well. They already have them using "Android", WiFi, and cameras and I think this may be in the near future!

I hope they don't make the iPhone bigger, that's the reason I haven't got a S4. Mf'er is so damn big

Apple products are reliable, their programs dont lock up like Microsoft does. I also like the size of my 5, dont want anything bigger. I have a Macbook for 3 years now and has never locked up or needed to be cleaned up or had to purchase anti virus programs. Plug the phone in to the Macbook, back it up.....Done.

Haven't had my 5 but for a couple of months and haven't had a problem out of it.

i fell out of the boat with my first 5, got a new one and its a pos. im wanting to switch to s4 but not really certain im gonna keep the $100 phone bill when i could swap to straight talk for half the price.

So what about the galaxy active. I saw a guy next to me at a football game using it and it looked pretty sweet. Asked him a few questions but of course it was new to him and he didn't really know shit.

I just got the galaxy active and I like it. it took some getting used to because ive always had an iphone, but it by far a superior phone compared to an iphone.

what about all the apps, music, pic etc. did they transfer over.

I don't think so, all my apps are free anyway so I didn't lose anything. and for the music get the spotify app, listen to any song you want. kinda like Pandora but you an pick a song vs an artist

Samsung developed a tool for switching from an iPhone to one of their phones; it's called Smart Switch. You basically backup your iPhone, download Smart Switch, then connect your new device. The Smart Switch program goes into your iTunes and extracts any data that is transferable to the new system. So this is pics, call log, text, notes, music, etc. Obviously apps can not be transferred over, but it will give you a list of exact matches and recommended matches (if there is not an exact match) and simply update with new apps from the google play store.
