hes probabley one of those guys thats just been hunting a pond for a few years and on opening day they just so happened to have a few boats run through it or even hunt it i hunted out there last weekend and this this weekend , on public land, and on opening day they had a couple boats in then pond we hunted and on the second day didnt see any, and this weekend didnt have any boats around us heard a few shots way off in the distance that were up wind from us

I can see how it might be confusing where boundaries are with all the land being swamp. Do most ppl put out markers/posted signs or do they just assume the locals know who owns what?

This thread is full of fact and BS. There are definitely some folks down there that I would not mess with. LA has several areas that you would be well advised to try to behave.
I have hunted down there and only been checked once. Game wardens keep folks honest. I have never been ticketed for anything that I was not guilty of.
Posted signs should be mandatory for tresspassing tickets to be issued. I would have a stack of poles and signs in my boat every time I went out if I had a lease there. If we see a sign we are gonna keep rolling no matter how many birds are sitting on the private. Even when some folks put signs on stuff that they don't have leased which happens ALOT!
I am not there to argue with someone over a map. It sucks that people will screw up other hunters when you have all that area.
I don't plan on taking part in a match of fisticuffs or getting my tail shot off for a duck.
That is a confusing place to hunt if you don't know it...especially now that much of the land is gone.

Its pretty simple if you dont own it or have written permission you shouldn't be there and the law backs that up. It doesnt get any more cut and dry

I like it alot, I mostly shoot then 325 grain Hornady lever revolution they shoot pretty damn good and are pretty fast
