Sounds like Cruz has some political chops. If he were a Democrat or a moderate Republican unstained with tea, he might just win the next election. His dad was a communist revolutionary and Cruz may not an American citizen qualified to run for president. He was born in Canada. He is the product of a broken home. But he is Ivy League graduate x2: Princeton BA and Harvard Law.

I'm anxious to see in whose home he chooses to announce his candidacy.

I'm simply pointing out these things about Cruz because you right wingers would recognize these criticisms. I think they are irrelevant to Cruz's qualifications just as they were irrelevant to Obama's. Cruz might be a formidable presidential candidate and his qualifications should be judgd on their merits and not some bogus technicality.

Personally I'd rather see a Lieutenant Colonel Allen West run for Presidnet. It's time to take the business and businessmen that only look out for themselves, out of the Gov't. The Gov't should not be ran as a business.

The government is not run like a business in any way, shape or form. Businesses are driven by a profit motive. Government is driven by a budget/pools type of structure. The individual branches of government have to spend the amount they are given in a year or they'll get less the following year. A business would go under almost immediately if it was ran this way. And most businesses have a dictator who ultimately controls everything. Some might argue that the government does too, but Congress has a pretty big say in how it runs.

So the rules set forth by our founding fathers is a technicality?

The people in Colorado ousted some of their politicians with a recall election. This needs to be done more throughout the country.
