 It is time.... I believe it is time for free men to rise up together in civil disobedience..... we need to get together regionally and stand our ground....the feds are closing and barricading open air memorials, closing public land and so on.....maybe its time to occupy some of this public land..... occupy federal refuge... lol I can just imagine one of us standing against an airboat like the chinaman standing against a tank at tienamen square.......

Re: It is time.... I said to Ranger a weeks ago that we need to have a homeguard type group. Where we are for the constitution, we help in times of disaster but we are armed, committed, helpful among other things. But this sort of structure would be great for civil disobedience.
Personally, if we can get 50 or 60 boats into an area, we can make a statement. maybe we can be arrested. LOL

But that began to change and the national party took over and hid all the klansmen and good ol boys and changed the democrat party in the south forever..... my grandpa, a die hard dem and confidante of dem congressman jack brookes would not support the dem platform today..... but some have a hard time breaking from the mold and tradition like dguidry and end up on the wrong side..... I live in a blue region of a red state and see it all the time....I could,would and have sat down for a drink with dguidry and he is not a bad guy by any means except for politically......I think I could spend a weekend in camp with him. I think we could find out we actually agree on more than we disagree on if we take the politics out of it. I will not ease up on the board when dean is wrong and yes I will decide what I consider wrong and defend what I think is right..... none of us arguing will make an ounce of difference in the real world. I think we all take our positions so seriously but in society our stance is nothing..... enjoy today, because its getting no better than now..... carpe dium!!!!
Instead of sitting in on a refuge. I think we should plant a state flag out in the refuge.... 30 or 40 state flags randomly placed would be a statement and they are just writting citations... no arrests..... get an attorney to take them all and get it dismissed. No federal judge wants all these cases. They have much more serious cases to deal with.
