Let's clear some things up. U got Efi as we all know! So let's see why?

1. Better starting? Hmmm...ok u win! I agree it starts better! But who would pay that much for better starting??? Hmmmm. Just don't add up...
2. Throttle response? So u paid 1900 for a little throttle response on a Briggs center console! Where the throttle response is Hardly ever noticed!
3. Fuel economy? Hmmmm...I can fill a lot of 6 gal tanks for that much!!! Stu has a dog in this fight...
4. Power? Ok,,,since these engines run usually a or near full power most of the time! How much did you gain??? 5hp? So that's 1900 for 5hp? Did I get that right???


Look J, no offense but the way I see it! Unless the price installed is about 12-1300 at best it's a dumb move! Like I said, warranty ain't worth shit in a boat! Usually when u need a warranty, your day or weekend is already fucked!!! Or u spending the night in a swamp wit da skeeters!! I wouldn't feel to much better knowing it will be fixed if and when I get home!

To put it simply, I can just about buy a whole Nother engine for what u pay for ur throttle response and warranty!!

Im pretty sure u coulda got one of the sponsors like Calen to give ya a warranty if that makes u feel better....

They do warranty tchauvin. I know for a fact Calen does. I'm pretty sure Hoyt does also. They do the work they warranty it. Just ask Gameover, he's used his warranty extensively lately.

I'm not getting into the warranty thing, but I know the efi does not void my 3 year Briggs warranty. Calen and gt warranty modded motors out of the kindness of their heart, and that is awesome of them, but not per Briggs. I'm done,,, I don't care lol

17x52 is a hard size to beat. I really think this is one of the best running sizes available. I think the 54" bottom is a little to wide and the 48" bottom is a little to narrow.

I was thinkin 1846. Already got the price for a 1 piece hull with 'sport crimps'.

Do you ins if it slides? If not go square. If you want a little turning ability go with single tapper.

Mines square, gotten use to slidin. I think mine does way better in mud than a narrower hull.
