 Re: Finally
I work on Natural Gas Pipeline jobs in the Northeastern United States. If you are studying for your FS I would recommend the following book. It helped. http://www.amazon.com/1001-Solved-Surve ... 1888577126Also, Do yourself a favor and get a pre-programmed HP-35S with the surveying package. Learn how to use it. It will save you time. http://easycogo.com/hp35s.htm

 Re: Finally
Mallard I got a pipeline/duck hunting story for you. I was hunting the Cleveland break wall a couple years ago. We are sitting up on the break wall and I smelled gas. I walked over to this 8" blackpipe that was 100 yards up wind of me. This pipe had a cap on it and the frickin cap had a huge chunk missing out of it. This thing had to be leaking $20,000 in gas a month pouring out of it. I could hear it from 50 feet away. So I call the gas company and I get this dumb cunt on the phone and tell her the situation and that I am on the break wall. She say "ok I will send a truck out right away". I said lady, you need a god damn boat to get out here. She starts laughing and saying to her coworkers that it is a prank. Never hunted that part of the wall again and I wonder if they ever took care of it. I found out that the gasoline was for the torches to cut the steel used to build the break wall a 100 years ago. Imagine how many other leaks there are out there.

 Finally
Thanks. I have the hp35 and several work books. Was looking a few weeks ago at the book you suggested till I saw the price tag! My professor has a copy might just use his.
