 Which one of you......
....was out riding on Clear Creek today? You passed me just downstream of I-45 about 1:30 or 2:00pm.
Just wanted to put a user name to the boat and say hi.

Yeah, skiff with a 14 Copperhead. I was playing on that sand/mud bar. I made it across 3 out of 5 times. I had a hard time finding anywhere with mud deeper than about 3".

 Re: Which one of you......
I was gonna try that spot but could tell it had alot of sand in it. I ended up going up the creek then coming back. Turns out I find a nice spot 100 yards from the launch the other direction. The spot I went wasnt super soft but it was chewable. Full of shell and logs though, it was alot of fun.
You launch at the park or 270? I live about 2 minutes from either.

270. I tried Challenger 7 first, but I didn't know the ramp was closed. I split my time between San Leon and Anahuac when I'm not offshore.

The park on Hwy 3 has a decent ramp, the parking and layout is nice though. Dont go there on a weekend, the jetski, wake boat douches are every where, and its a single ramp. I only use it on weekdays, and if I'm wanting to go up river.

I saw a handful, tons of roseate's. Everytime I run that Creek I cant help but imagine how it looked say 60-75 years ago. We for sure need to get together for a run, be it the creek, west bay, or old/lost river.
Challenger ramp only had 1 slip with water in it LOL.
