 Buying new boat and mud motor. Help please. I am in the market for a new duck hunting boat and mud motor and would really like your guys help please. I have not owned one so I'm not set on any specific brand I just want to buy the right combo the first time. So here is my hunting conditions-no rocks or flooded timber I hunt in shallow water and mud mostly knee deep water so boat draft is very important because to get the boat close enough to vegetation the water is no more than ankle deep. I also want to use the boat for a family fishing boat in the off season so I was thinking about a 18 foot boat 54-60 inches wide I would be carrying 2-3 people a dog and decoys I love speed so I don't want to be under power at all if I'm going to spend over 20 grand for the set up. Help please. Scott.

Re: Buying new boat and mud motor. Help please. or you can buy my 1848 w/ 35 GTRfor 11.5k already stage 2 take it to gator tail get the block fixed your into it 13.5k max, and you got a boat that new would cost 18.5k and its only 1 year old.
