 Re: boat blind
This is my rig. The blind bolts to the lip around the cockpit. most of the cover stays on all year, blind comes off for fishing season. The blind is warm and safe, plenty of free board. It does catch a lot of wind and can be a bear to get on a trailer. With GDSD 35 and stage 3 mods I was getting 27 loaded 3 men and a dog. I am back to running stock and get about 20 with 2 men and a dog. Its a 20x60 http://www.refugeforums.com/refuge/show ... p?t=644301JD

 Re: boatblind
Just a question?????? Why would a person want to ride around in a floating box blind????? when you can fold a blind down is seconds and be on your way with out the wind drag and all of the other con's of having a huge fixed blind?????

 Re: boatblind
i can tell you that i have hunted in one a few times and it was NICE!!!! Especially if your not drivin. The best way to describe is this.... Imagine your going campin, flip up boat blind is like using a tent... hardsided blind is like having a camper... and a nice permanent blind is like havin a cabin,

 Re: boatblind
i do have regrets. but i do love it! regrets in high winds you have to fight it some areas around me we just use the boat to run decoys and lay in layout binds and i can fit alot more decoys in the boat without the blind on. love it because its warm it hides awesome and i can have everything super organized

 Re: boatblind
Man wind blocker under the grass makes the fold up blind just like the hard sided blind and my boat is just as organized!!! I'm OCD so trust me on this one!!!

 Re: boatblind
Yeah it would be nice to have one but not to drive around with. If you could park it and leave it on a lease it would be perfect!!!!
