 Mikuni Carb and MM Muffler install: look out SETX 2014Rig is at mechanics shop right now to install 45mm Mikuni and MMMuffler on my GTR35. Already have Hoyt's cam in there. I have 4300 coils. This is on a 16 x 48 Gator Tail standard hull. Any issues? The hull porpoises with the current set up already, in spite of 4" beads welded to bottom near transom. Think I'm gonna keep the 4300 coils even though I know I'll be sacrificing RPMs. More interested in load carrying capabilities and muscle in mud than in top end.

Re: Mikuni Carb and MM Muffler install: look out SETX 2014 Put 4700s. It's not good to run around under trimmed all the time to keep it off the coils. A lot better for the motor to run at the right trim height.
