I wactched the show majoroty of the dayyesterday and ive come to realize something. Them landry boys will run a fkn GTR, an outboard, and a Go Devil all in the same scene. When they had to cut the trees dowm to run up the levee, he got his speed with the gatortail, had to push the godevil the rest of the way, and hunted with an outboard. Fkn junk!

I stopped watching it a long time ago. Seems they all start out pretty good then just get ridiculous with the editing. Swamp Pawn was good at first, but now they doing the same thing.

Yeah...that editing is HORRIBLE! But, it's still a better and more entertaining watch than some of the other stuff on TV.

i watch swamp people when i can. i just enjoy looking at all the views of the swamp. when i was a commercial diver i lived in gretna and belle chase for a couple years. i would drive to docks in venice, fourchon, morgan city and always wanted to get out in the swamp but never got a chance

I will say that was a big ass turtle . Still fun too watch , even if some stuff is staged . Not much of anything better on Monday night other than crap .

Season 1 was good but now the show just went to crap with all these so called "swamp people" and the whole show is just about fake. I mean wtf is up with that retarded turtle scene??

Yeah, they make them wear the same shirts so that they can splice footage from other gators and all. Old trick they learned from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Marlin Perkins and Jim. LOL, before all you young bucks time.

Aligator Snapping Turtles are definite throwbacks from dinosaurs and prehistoric times. But they sure like to get a lot of Native Indians in on this with rituals and all. if it is staged only for the cameras, crap on them. If they do those rituals still before the season, I think it is good to see it. Part indian myself, Mom was supposedly 1/8th but we never pursued any documentation.

I couldn't wait to watch Marlin and Jim on Sundays when I was a kid!

The kids have been watching it off an on for years now. The editing is f'n horrible. Do they ever catch a gator that isn't a 700 lb monster. The dumbass will put a 6 footer in the boat "700 lbs" or a 10 footer "700 lbs". At the end of the day when his ass is riding back with 15 gators all of which are 700 lb monsters. That long tail running 30 mph (which is nice ) is hauling 10,000 lbs of gators. I need that long tail.

Ha! No doubt! I'm selling my PD and gonna figure out how to put a long tail on my CC!

oh! Boy, that's a big one Jim watch out! Loved that show growing up! Wow if we only knew how it was done! I have been to the kilberts sp? Gator farm had a great afternoon . I think having somthing happen to you like that for shure helps those people in life and for that reason alone I can only say its a good thing. No matter how fake the show is.

Just saw that them hands from up here got a sport v and a new boat. They supposedly get new rigs from mb/gator trax for the show.
