 1860 xpress with 35gtr
Older guy that i work with is buying a 1860 express and gonna stick a new stock 35gtr on it
I realize it not gonna win any speed races but with 2 225lb guys yall think it will be difficult to get up on step? ?

I have a xpress 18V Bayou with a 36 Sport V and with 2 people in the boat I would get 26mph. With a heavy hunting load I would get 22mph. I have no problems with it getting up on step. performance wise it ran really well with both types of loads.

Why not buy the correct hull for the motor... you can get a boat trailer comparable/less in price that will run much better than that boat.

I have checked around for him I couldn't find a 1860 with trailer any cheaper Besides this is for a 5 yr old man that just runs the river fish in a few times a yr and du know hunts maybe a dozen times a season Speed and performance is not what he is worried about

You can get a 1860 for about 3500... bare bones then a new trailer for 1500 paint and rig yourself for prolly 250 less than what they want for that. Just advising not trying to be a dick...

i have a 1654 xpress full flat bottom though i run 29 in deep water not sure of the weight difference though
