B.M. Is an apparition. He comes and goes in the night depositing stories. Aintry ain't so far away that he couldn't visit us down here every once in a while. He's probably got a private plane at his disposal and minions to trailer his boat for him, with all that oil and gas money flowing his way. I'd like to meet him and get drunk with the SOB at least once. There are plenty of good writers like him but none have the inside perspective he does on the good-old-boy-Mudmotor world which has evolved solely from this forum. It really has many interesting elements: avarice, litigation, pride, racism, intelligence and stupidity, nacisism and more.

Anyway, for a one off story probably typed as the ideas came to him, it's pretty good, but I'm sure if we were to dig deeper into it we might find inconsistencies, not that I've found or even looked for any, I'm just saying. I don't think that each chapter came from an outline, but more than likely after a few good stiff drinks. He's definitely got a vivid imagination.

Growing up in Aintry in the seventies was wonderful. We were fully integrated. None of us had much of anything but we didn't know it. We played in the dust together black, white, and Asian. We shared everything from a slice of watermelon to a bottle of nu-grape and nobody ever wiped off the lid as we passed it around taking a drink. We cried together when some bodies dog died or their daddy left and we laughed together when things were good. Yeah we may have looked different but we were all in the same boat. None of us need your white sear sucker covered ass taking up for us. So put that in the tailpipe of your Volvo and sit in the garrage for a while.
