 Grass blind options
Wanna get something similar to Avery's brown timber grass mats. Want some other options though. Gonna be hunting in the marsh and can always add some paint to the mats to make them darker or lighter. Gonna run it on an 18' prodigy any other options or good sites to look at? Thanks.

 Re: Grass blind options
The true fast grass is better because it will darken and look more natural... The real grass stuff and bass pro stuff will stay yellow looking etc..

 Re: Grass blind options
I ordered 3 boxes of the Avery timber brown grass. Not yellow and can always add green vegetation to it.

 Re: Grass blind options
Here is what I did to my Prodigy 1854. I live right up the rd from Knutsons so I just went down there and picked up a few bags of that Tangle free raffia grass and the other day I picked up a 5lb bag of the Cabelas grass on sale. I like the looks so far. I have had it sitting in the sun to help dull it down before season. I did one side with more green for early season and the other side for later in the season.

Damn craigrh13 that looks good. I like the mixed colors. Give some dimension and depth.

 Re: Grass blind options
the raffia is tough as hell. I went back to the real original fast grass cause I mainly hunt cattails

 Re: Grass blind options
Here's mine. Did it 2 years ago. Still looks good and stores better than fast grass. This is bout 30lbs on my old 18 foot boat. I gotta flip top on er too. Had ducks land on the blind.
