 Trim Replacement Question!!!???
This may be in the wrong thread but I'm sure I can get some answers here. I m installing the new Mercury trim kit on my MB , and I'm following the directions . My problem seems to be that I don't have enough spacing to get my lower swivel brackets back around to bolt them to the casing. I've tried lifting the the tail to get the slack I need but the whole trim moves . Now is it possible if I lock to trim down where the transom bracket doesn't move I may could get what I need? Here a a pic of what I'm looking like . Any help would be appreciated thanks guys.

Just a thought, but can you remove the bracket, then slide it in between the housing and then bolt it all backup?
