I ran it quite a bit trying to figure out fuel issue.

It has the low end approaching a heads/cam/carb briggs.

I would like to see one on a gen3.

One difference is it has a much broader power curve. I believe this is why it seems much more powerful in stock form. Briggs may produce close to the same peak numbers, but I believe the kawi makes more power over a much broader RPM range.

Change out to the solenoids and use a $10 switch. My shit flies now, up down, Forward rev. Hyd motors get full amps instaed of going through switch.

Cam #3 should be shipped to us this week. With that along with some shims for the valves, we may finally be able to "unleash the beast"

Should only take about 30 minutes.

You should be able to swap a cam on a briggs in 3 hours if you needed to. He don't even have to remove the block from the frame.

Haha. No union here. I can pretty much make my own schedule. And yup, bout 30 min from the first wrench to firing it up. That's what I like about this sucker. And best of all, no need to get an engine hoist, a oil sump to drain the oil. Pop the top, install the mod, ROLL OUT!!!

Lee installed cam 2. It was a different duration, different lift and different LSA. We figured we over shot mine so his is dialed back some. Cam three will be even different. It's all trail and error. Seeing what works and what doesn't. It's good that we have about 7 guys involved so all the cost isn't falling on one person for the R&D. But it's coming along nicely.

Yesterday I ran it with fuel pump fixed it felt strong I beat a stage 2 pd out the hole and stayed on his ass on top end he says he was running 32 also passed a guy in a gtr with carb and exhaust for sure he did have a passanger and I was solo not sure if he had a cam or not but the look on his face was priceless like he couldn't figure out what was passing him lol I got to the lake and hit the Lillie's hard packed 2 ft tall ran over 1/2 mile of Lillie's and never heard a peap no rpm drop just ate right through it .all I can say for just carb and exhaust it's very impressive as far as low end it's pretty close to stage 3 briggs I was running I'm sure with just cam it will be a bad mofo so as for now I'm satisfied with the performance and can't wait to finish mods

I'm not sure why yall are so excited to get away from the briggs... oh wait, yes I do!!! Not 1, not 2, but all 4!

Briggs does the job but if someone doesn't explore how will you know if something else will do it better . Some say kawasaki has issues but briggs has as many or more but with billet cam and stainless valves I feel like Kawasaki will be a much better engine .as far as stronger and more torque kawi has it beat but until we get some hours on it you can't say it will outlast any other but like I said we are doing this to see how well they perform and how little maintance they require
