 Time to batten down the hatches! We've got an Alberta clipper coming down. 35-40mph winds and temps around zero. Puts the wind chill factor down around -35 -40 degrees. Now that is spit freezing in the air cold right there.  stoke up the wood stove and watch three stooges movies. To damn cold to even go ice fishing! Woman wants to go see 50 shades of grey! Somebody help me!!

Re: Time to batten down the hatches! All i've ever been told is that We have a different kind of cold than yall up north. I guess we have more of a wet cold, than anything. I've heard that when its snowing in colorado, some days you can walk outside in a t shirt and its not too bad. Try to walk outside down here when its cold like that!  Hell, it hasnt snowed here in 10 years!
