They no-showed huh? It's been a while since I've been on the site, but saw the Dixie post today just surfing around. Sounds like the same old story. I've been fortunate and my motor is still running strong for about 3-4 years aside from standard maintenance type stuff...knock on wood. Just bought a new muffler, which has been the first thing to fail and was expected. Anyway, I was just anxious to see if they had the sand in their pants to show up lol.

They showed up with the new lower unit and got stuck at the ramp

Is this for deep water only?

That new alloy was awesome except it dissolves in water. That's how they get you. No lower unit to send in for repair because it melted...

That's how they got the 41 mph.

I hear it was near completion when the company had issues. Has someone picked up that ball and ran with it? Supposed to be the baddest small Hp prop available to the general public. A guy at Dixie I spoke with (long ago) said they had EFI prototype engines long before anyone else too....

Your motor has to turn 9k RPM to run the Dixie 3 blade. Duh.

Theirs a 5 year wating period with 5,000 down [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]
