 Glock 26
Bout to pull the trigger and pick one of these little bad babies up. Iv never owned a glock but def know how popular they are. Does anyone own a 26. This is gonna be specifically for conceal carry purpose only. Bunch of crazy coon asses down here I love my sig .40 but it doesn't conceal very well

 Re: Glock 26
I have the Glock 27 Gen 4. I don't know how the frame on the 26 compares to the 27 but mine is pretty bulky. It conceals pretty good but not very comfortable. I picked up a Kahr MK9 for CC and love it.

 Re: Glock 26
I was lookin at the 26 but went with 19 instead(only double stack pistol I have). Their the same width and that's the hardest part to conceal. I cc a lcp at work everyday but any other time I carry a kahr cw9 or the 19. Can't go wrong with a glock tho! Good luck!

 Re: Glock 26
The 26 and 27 are same frame size, I carry one in the winter but go to the 42 in 380 for summer carry the 26 is the same width as a full size glock

 Glock 26
Yep only shorter. I carry a 27 unless wearing khaki shorts or slacks then it's my DB9 in the pocket it's smaller than the 42 and in 9mm

Get an XDm.... I had two Glocks and have gotten rid of both for comparable model Springfields and have never looked back.

 Re: Glock 26
I like my glock 42 and carry it everyday. It's definitely on the larger side and not for the pocket, but iwb works well.

 Re: Glock 26
Glocks arent me personal prefference only because i shoot my 1911s so much better and its slimmer and more comfortable for me to carry (im a fairly big guy) but they are reliable, quality and proven. My old man and several buddies carry them and like them.
Get you a bladetech holster they are awesome!

 Re: Glock 26
I have an XDs and a Glock 42. Bought the 42 to pocket carry in the summer with and now it's all I carry. I've shot the 26 and 27 and they shoot fine. The Pearce grip extensions are a must on any of these small guns.

 Re: Glock 26
If your gonna buy the pinky extension, just go with the 19. The size then is very small and I rather the extra rounds and being able to get a much better grip I have a 27 and I rarely carry it, I conceal a glock 19 everyday! A good holster & a gun belt are a big key to being comfortable. I use a comp tac minatour with a wilderness belt

Iv heard a lot of good things about the high noon holsters for comfort. I'm gonna carry outside the waistband, and not wanting a pocket pistol

 Re: Glock 26
I'll preface this statement by saying that I've owned many Glocks: A 17, 19, 21SF, 22, 26, 27, 30, and 30SF. All have been great.
If you want a concealable 9mm, as another poster mentioned, the considerable weight and thickness of a double-stack is the limiting factor of any Glock other than the 36 ad 42, regardless of grip or barrel length.
Until Glock comes out with a single-stack 9mm, take a very hard look at the Kahr CM9 and PM9. Their internals are strikingly similar to a Glock and the triggers are a lotsmoother than most double-action autos. By the way, Kahr is an American-owned company and their guns are made here in the States.
I walked into a local store intending on walking out with a Sig P290 or S&W Shield 9mm and left with a Kahr CM9. That pistol was in a truck that was stolen and I didn't think twice about replacing it with a PM9 (a slightly nicer version of the CM9.) It goes everywhere with me in a Sticky holster.
This is coming from somebody who owns and shoots a lot of Glock pistols.

 Re: Glock 26
I carry a Glock 26 daily. One of the best concealed carry pistols in my opinion. Weight:capacity is great. With a good belt and holster, it carries just fine. I carry it under tshirt shorts all the time.

 Re: Glock 26
I'm glad I found this thread. I too have been on the hot prowl for a single stack concealable semi in 9mm. I am a LEO for twenty five years and have been issued and carried a Glock for about twenty of those years. From gen 1 to current generation. I'm old enough to have been issued and carried a wheel gun the first five years. A S and W 686. When I was a detective [10yrs] I almost never carried a sidearm. Always one close by. Have you ever carried a Glock 22 all day everyday wearing Khakis. Absolutely miserable. I did have a airweight 38 on my ankle. With the things going on today I have decided to start carrying a sidearm everywhere everyday. I looked at the Kahr but was unsure about it. I will go and take a second look. One thing I consider the most important is carry ability. If its not comfortable I won't carry it. I want something that is not sharp cornered. It must be single stacked. I want to set myself up with something I will carry without second thought. Also not sure on concealable holsters? With my duty weapon I had to wear what was issued. Now I don't. Open for suggestions.

 Re: Glock 26
Try the Sticky holster if you aren't looking for something you can use when you tuck your shirt in. It rides in your waistband. I keep mine right about where the label is on a pair of jeans. Let it sit between your boxers and skin. It's not hot, and it absolutely will not pull out with the gun when you draw. I have a drawer full of $100 holsters and the sticky is just about all I use with my Kahr; it costs $25. http://www.stickyholsters.com/

 Re: Glock 26
I carry a S&W Shield 9mm in an IWB holster from wright leather works. It's my first carry set up and I've been very pleased with comfort/conceal ability.
