 Which O/U 20 gauge?
What are a few of the over under 20's I should shoulder before I get one for skeet and dove.

Whats your budget? I absolutely love my 686 white onyx with 28" barrels, but they aren't cheap.

 Which O/U 20 gauge?
I shoot a CZ 12ga and seems like a decent gun.
If I was going to get one I would probably get a Citori or Cynergy. A guy I shoot with has a Citori and it's a sweet lil gun.
Try to steer away from the cheaper brands if you can. I shoot with another fella that has a Stoeger 20 and 12 and they are both falling apart slowly. But we shoot 6-7 boxes of shells a week so it doesn't take too long for em to fall apart.

My old competition gun was a 686 12 gauge 32", used to love beating guys with their $20k+ perazzis and kreigoffs and ive killed many a bird with it. Never shot one in a 20 but if it fits you theres no way you could go wrong i love mine in 12

 Re: Which O/U 20 gauge?
My recommendation would be a used Beretta 12ga Silver Pigeon and get a set of Briley 28ga. tubes. That'd be a fantastic all-around gun you can use for the rest of your life for anything. 3" chamber, 30" bbls. That's an undoubtedly reliable and easy-to-shoot firearm. I really really really like that action and the stock cut fits me perfectly. I dislike the Citori's. The wedge system that browning uses... I won't say that it's a bad system, but I've seen several fail at shoots (barrel just fell out of receiver with the fore-end still attached. One dude I saw speared his barrel in the dirt he was so pissed ). Having a duck gun fail in front of a couple of friends is one thing, but they're also meant to be abused. Having a target gun fall apart? They're built to shoot hundreds of thousands of rounds! They should be unbelievably reliable! Also, have your safety pinned!

 Re: Which O/U 20 gauge?
The biggest issue with the O/U's is that they cannot be easily adjustable so fit is critical. Personally, I can not shoot the Beretta's because they just do not have enough drop and I am constantly looking over the barrel. In my opinion they are hard to beat for fit, finish and function though. I have a Ruger Red Label that was given to me by a dear friend and I really enjoy shooting it.

 Re: Which O/U 20 gauge?
A lot of the Citori guys hate hate hate the new Cynergies.
I was a clean slate when looking for on and shouldered/shot them all, and the Cynergy shouldered and pointed the best for me so I got it against the advice of two buddies who are dedicated Citori guys.
First time I shot that Cynergy was like I'd been shooting it for 20yrs.
Moral: Shoulder them all and see how they feel/point, and go with your instincts.
