So my new GD will be here in 4-5 weeks and I'm wondering about the lawyer box. I know my 1844 has one coming in it, but I was wondering if anyone had found anything creative to do with them?

I hate to waste something that someone else found a great use for.

Remove it from the boat, take the foam out, and use it for a dog box lol

when i had my old gdsd hull i had pulled foam out of it and made it into a stereo housing but ended up taking up to much space and i eventually pulled it out

Leave it there. If unfortunate circumstances should cause your boat to swamp, you will be glad you have it. It could mean the difference between bailing out your boat and carrying on with your day and treading water next to the spot where the boat once was.

The box in front of the transom on the narrower boats, it's about 15" taller than the floor give or take.
