Just want to ask this question. " Boats and motors" have you guys went through. I'll start with what I've had.
1236 grummand: 5hp merc.
1448 smokercraft: 25hp Johnson.
16 dlx Carolina skiff: 40 Yamaha 4 stoke.
1542 fisher: 27 mudbuddy mini.
16.5/46 xpress: 25gdlt.
1754 gatortrax hd: 27 mini.
And after all that< ive got the 16.5/46 with 35gdsd.

I have never had a comb that I have like enough to keep longer than a few years. Time to start looking at a boat that I will like and keep for the long haul. I've noticed that a lot of guys on here have new boats built and turn around and sell them a year later , Everyone has there reason and that's not my business but just wanted to ask. Lets here what you guys have had.

I guess I'm not the only one spending money like it grows on trees.

After the outboards I have had (4-5), I had:
15-42 grizzly with a 23 mb.
16-44 gd with a 27 pd, sold the 27 to get a 36 pd.
18-50 Garrett Pearce hull with 36 pd
Some junk semi v hull with 18 copperhead
16-48 custom hull with a 25 gtr
And now a 16-54 GT extreme with a 35 gtr

First boat was an old 15 ft fiberglass hull with old 50 merc.
then,
14x36 alweld with 23 gdlt
traded the 23 gdlt and put a 25 johnson on it
turned the alweld into an inboard straight shaft.
sold it and got an inboard 72 subaru.
then 14x42 alweld with 23 mb mini
then sold the mini and put a 29 vanguard mb on it
sold that rig and bought a 16x48 with a new 36 PD on it
sold that rig and bought a brand new 16x48 alweld with 35 GDSD
now i have a 36 CC PD on the alweld.

I think that about covers it all!

Im sure i will sell it in future and find something else

Will probably go custom, 18x50 next!

I've had 6 before the two I have now. I'm holding onto these for a while.

Man I wish I took a pic of the look on her face lol , but she a trooper and said what ever , make it your last one , and make sure it's what you want. So after the new boat is built. I'll slide a new motor in the mix some how , or get a efi and put it on the Gd.

sad thing is, i think i had just as many trucks as i had boats!

Ive had a 14x36, a 15x42 semi v with a 25 mblt. Sold the longtail for 23 mud buddy mini, traded the mini for a 23 gatortail. Then sold the motor then bought my current setup a 16x48 alweld with a 35gtr.

oh, i also had a 14x40 alweld with a 27 mb mini to throw in the mix too!

Damn ^ all those boats and never owned a mud hull lol. Iv only owned a 15/42 alweld with a 25 , 3 cylinder evnrude ( still have it ) , just sold a 18/56 CC Go-Devil with a stage 2 GTR, now waiting on a 20/72 wc custom boat with 37 EFI duals.

(3) 1236 jons, (2) 14.' Canoes, 14' starcraft, 1542 Jon with 23 backh20, 16' alumaweld with 50, 21' tracker with a 150, 27' trophy with a 225 and a 25. (5) 15hp Mercs, (5) 9.9 mercs, (3) assorted 6hps, (4) 150 hp mercs, (2) 225 mercs and a shit load in the 25 to 125 range. That is what we have currently. The wife is so happy with our situation

Starting out I had a 1640 Lowe mod v with a merc 15 to start out with. Sold that, put a 25 Johnson on, sold that, put a 15 honda on.

1648 duckmaster with a 25 evinrude
Trade that for a 1544 alumacraft and kept the motor on that then sold that whole rig.
Then I bought my 18x44 godevil and have a 25 GDLT on it .

Let me try to remember, 18' bayliner, 8 john boats from 14'-18', 3 bateau 15',17' 20', 18' bumble bee, 17' avenger bass boat, 3 mud boat hulls. 17' and 18'. 24' bay boat. Currently have a 18' Gator trax/ GT, 24'express BB/ 300 Suzuki, custom bateau 20' with 90 merc.
