His rig is in the yard in the Canary Islands for a bunch of work and upgrades. I don't know if they have a contract for when they are done and I know Diamond has laid a lot of people off this year. He was going to retire next yr anyway but is talking about taking a voluntary early retirement so I don't know if he'll go back out of not. He may have very well pulled his last hitch. 40+yrs, kinda hard to believe it may be over with. He is waiting for a phone call basically to know wether he has the option of going back to work on his rig or maybe another for a year. Don't really know much at this point.

Anyway, that'sthe latest. I was gonna text you the other day and ask about your ol man too. Apparently it's pretty sketchy right now for Diamond in general.

Yea my pops is on a 110 account he is in Romania they laid o bunch of people off !!!! The ocean star is 10 miles off the coast cold stack . Him and another guy were the last two off the rig and locked her up. Been unmaned for about 2 months

FWIW, there is a guy selling spherical firepits like that on the internet, but they are cut out like a globe. Very cool to see the world burning from the inside!
