 Cabelas Waders
I bought into the hype and bought drake waders. They have turned into the a constant leaking PIA. I've read a few threads and some reviews and looks like cabelas has the better warranty out of the big name companies. Does anyone have the new supermags and how did you like them.

 Re: Cabelas Waders
I've got the super mags which are 4 years old, the ultimates which are going on 11 or 12 years old and the dry plus breathable a which are about 4 years old. The boots on the dry plus are dry and cracking which is probably the result of sitting in the bed of my truck a lot during summer. I resealed the leg seams on the ultimates a few years ago but are still going strong. And the super mags are going strong as my late season choice.

 Re: Cabelas Waders
I have had the supermags for 2 seasons have not had any issues. As mentioned they are very warm. I found the boots run a little big as well for sizing

 Re: Cabelas Waders
I have a pair of super mags thats 10+ years old, and another pair thats 5+. Bought a pair of drakes last year to look cool, not as comfortable as the the super mags. I have 2 pairs of lacrosse, one pair leaks. I would buy another pair from cabelas, I haven't had any problems with them. They all get used, and abused my boys and I all wear the same size.

 Re: Cabelas Waders
I have had a few over the years and they are the most consistent cold weather waders I have owned. The new boots run small in compassion to years past, at least the width does.

 Re: Cabelas Waders
Y'all make me feel like a dipshit. If i get a full season out of a pair of waders, I feel like I've accomplished something. Having said that, the Cabelas are my favorite.

 Re: Cabelas Waders
I've switched to cabelas and had good luck. I live in south la so not that cold here but I get cold fairly easy in the feet. I got the light mags bc the superman boot seemed to big like a ballon for me walking in mud like I do. If hard bottom is got them but saying that I love light mag and don't get cold at all

 Re: Cabelas Waders
I have three pairs of Cabelas waders right now (dry-plus breathables, Lite Mags and the Northern light ones). All great waders. The Super Mag boots are kind o clmky (but warm)

La Crosse Alpha Swamp fox is another one to look at. La Crosse also makes/made some of the Cabelas line
