Has been ridiculous hot this year, can't wait for a couple of cold fronts and something to shoot at!

And the 60 percent humidity hasn't helped anything either! Heat index is running around 110!

I know its been pretty rough on a fatboy this summer.

Had 2 guys prepping a slab yesterday who got too hot. One cramped up and the other was puking. Concrete work sucks when it's like this

I've always been told a brutal summer will be followed up my a brutal winter. Don't know how true that is.

I rather the cold over the heat, just hoping for some good hunts this winter!

Heat gun showed 130* on a random spot on the rocks today, it's been hot as balls on location the last few days.
Gunna try frying an egg on a toolbox tomorrow

Damn WoodieBuster. That's scorching lol. I feel bad for the guys laying asphalt on the highway by my house. Between the heat, the heat coming off the road, and the 300 degree asphalt I know it's got to be a hot sob. And they're doing it in the middle of the day!

Those rocks on an oilfield location are like the reflective lining on a convection oven. Except you're the sweaty turkey I do what I can this time of year to start around daylight and be done by 10am or so. The rest of the day is for paperwork in the truck or just driving around checking on other equipment. If I get out of the truck after noon it's because something's broke or I've got the pressure washer running cleaning a cooler and there's a nice mist of water in the air
