 Worried about pulling heads
Motor has 500 hrs. I'm worried that when I go to take the heads off the bolts are gona be seized up and ruin the block just like my exhaust bolts did to the heads when I took them out? Any tips or advice before I go to taking my motor apart?

 Re: Worried about pulling heads
Soak the ever loving shit out of them with kroil, wd, pb blaster or something like that and don't get in a big hurry trying to take them out.

 Re: Worried about pulling heads
Seen a lot of seized exhaust bolts, never head bolts- just what I have seen.

 Re: Worried about pulling heads
Like brick said spray it and let it soak. Personally I would spray it and give it at least a day to soak in if not 2 days

 Re: Worried about pulling heads
The head bolts have never given me an issue. Also they are flanged head bolts aswell. It will be hard to get pen oil to get to the threads quickly enough to even matter.

 Re: Worried about pulling heads
Do they come right off once the bolts are out or do they usually require prying?

 Re: Worried about pulling heads
Everything I've ever pulled a head off of requires a little work to get loose. Nothing a real small pry bar or screw driver can't handle though. If you start to break stuff start looking for the bolt you left tight
