 Cheap mikuni upgrade
Instead of buying an in my opinion wayyyy over priced mikuni for my my prodrive 32 hp vanguard, why couldnt i take the mikunis from a motorcycle like the yamaha v star and install them? Dumb question maybe... Im new to the mud motor world

You can. Fitting it is where the cost is. Adaptors, linkage, etc.... $$$

exactly ^^^
When the group decided to mess with these Kawasaki's, we had to have an adapter made to fit the mikuni. Any carb "should" work, but the adapter will have to be custom made to "your" carb.
