Upper bearing removal on long tail
Have a long tall MM and need to remove the upper bearing. Got the snap ring out and now the bearing won't come out of the housing. What is the easiest way to remove this bearing.

See those teeth marks from a pipe wrench... grab it with a pipe wrench, remove assymbley, then drive the bearing out from other side

Re: Upper bearing removal on long tail
Hit it from the inside with your shaft and it should pop right out.

Re: Upper bearing removal on long tail
I did hit with the shaft and it didn't work. Which way do I turn the pipe wrench to loosen the housing? And does the whole thing come off or just the front section?
