best way to put gator glide on
I am going to put gator glide on the bottom of my gator tail 1854 extreme. Its a open floor boat. I can remove the engine and battery and flip it over to paint the gator glide on or just pick the boat up and suspend it from a hoist and paint the bottom. Question is, Is it worth the hassle pulling the gtr 35 off to pain the bottom? Or just paint it overhead?

Re: best way to put gator glide on
Just did mine.
I would just suspend and do from underneath.
That is what I did.
Get with Frog he will help you figure it out.

I'd rather remove the engine and flip it than have to paint it overhead.

I flipped and painted mine, but it was a new hull at the time. Now that it's rigged...I would go for the suspend and paint from below.
You probably want to be move careful working overhead, and more deliberate with your movements. It may take a little longer to apply the paint, but it will be quicker than pulling the motor and flipping.
