jump box?
Secondary battery and switch is an option but due to space/weight considerations, a "jump box" came to mind. I like the fact they are compact and lightweight. Any brand/model you can suggest? They tend to be pricey, many more cost than a battery, would welcome any reliable/economical brands. I keep my main battery on a trickle charger but would like a backup just in case, and of course these will also jump your towing vehicle. Thanks!

Re: jump box?
Glades, I have a stanley one from Sam's that was a gift that stays in my truck, it has started 2 diesels and 3 different vehicles. My mother in law said it was around $60. Will try to find it and post it up for you. The only reason i dont keep one in my boat is because i will forget to recharge it. https://www.amazon.com/STANLEY-P2G7S-Li ... mple+startnot great reviews but never had an issue out of mine

JUMPBOX 400 SP-12V400-JB1 400 Amp Lithium-Ion Car Jump Starter and Power Bank
From Amazon for $60
Best money I've spent on a boat. Cranks the boat motor with ease. And I've tested it on my 5.7 V-8 Toyota and it cranked it 5 times without me recharging it

Re: jump box?
Anti-gravity all the way. I've used it to jump my dad's 7.3 Ford already. It is a beast
