Sport v with cracked block buy it or nah?
Been a while since I posted. I sold my boat, first post back. Got a fella selling a 2015 sport v 50mag for $2k with a cracked block. Last I heard the sport v was junk and to steer clear, it would seem that's still the case seeing as the motor has less than 50 hours and broke. But is it to good a deal to pass up on? I can buy a new briggs and slap the parts on a go and have a sport v at half the price right? What ya think?

Buy it and put a Kawasaki on it, if your going to get another motor, done.

I wouldn't pay 2k for a sport v with a running motor on it.

I'd buy it. Put a motor on it and try it out. If you don't like it you should surely be able to get your money back out of it. Hell, with only 50 hours on it, it should still have a new $350 prop on it.
