Re: Is my motor stock
Sounds like you have 4750 rev limit coils on the motor. Are you running those rpm’s consistently? Or just when the prop comes out the water?

Is my motor stock
You are turning 4700 rpms in the water? If so, then no I doubt it is stock. The stock CDI coils do limit rpms at 4700 rpms OOW but I highly doubt you're running those RPMs in the water with a stock motor unless your prop is worn like crap. What speeds are you seeing and do you have it trimmed right?

Re: Is my motor stock
The prop is in the water at 4700 rpm but trimmed a little high I run best trimmed down at about 4400 to 4500 rpm that's where I run consistently it goes about 24 to 26 mph

Re: Is my motor stock
Sounds like you’ve got the lower pitched prop with a stock motor. I could be wrong though.

Re: Is my motor stock
Hammers are NOT for stock motors. Your prop is worn more than likely.

Re: Is my motor stock
For a 35 that does sound high. However i do run my best speeds around 4600-4700 rpm on a stock 37.
