Recently bought this boat and I don’t think I’m getting the right speed from it I hit 20 with 2 people and 15 with a hunt load and 3 people My boat doesn’t throw a rooster tail when my handle is in the float position my trim knob is trimmed up all the way what can I do to get more speed out of this boat? New prop?

Have a 27 gdsd on a 15/42 alweld . With a brand new prop it doesn’t throw much of a rooster tail at all. The more I wore the prop down the more it would throw . IMO on my boat I don’t wana see much of a rooster tail. As for as speed goes check what rpm your turning up with 2 guy and a hunting load mines will run 3550 range 25mph. Also move shit around in your boat and see if that helps. I put as much as I can all the way to the front. Definitely by my self. Which I don’t weigh much. The more weight I have up front the better it runs .

That's not a whole lot of boat for that kind of load. The speeds seem a little low, but you're in the ballpark with a 3man load and gear.
