Rev Limiter
Any way to test an early model rev limiter? I seem to bang out on top end and not sure if limiter working.

put it in neutral and rev it up till it cuts out while watching the tach.

Tach not working right, gives screwed up rpm. Was looking for check with a meter. Thanks for the reply, good hunting,

make sure your tac wire isn't touching something its not supposed to be. Was havaing issue with mine and noticed it was touching another wire. re-routed it and no issues.

They will also mess up if the wires are getting wet?. Mine used to get spray from the motor and read very high. Once I was able to block that spray it worked just fine
