Where to eat in NOLA
I'm here for a couple days I'm wanting a few suggestions on some good food. Staying near the Bourbon street.
Thanks

Re: Where to eat in NOLA
I really like the Bourbon House, Acme of course, maybe you can venture to Drago's too. Really all good food in the city. Be careful where you go. You can end up in the wrong place and wish you never even thought of New Orleans. It really is a Shithole (In my Trump voice)

Thanks, bryceheramie appreciate it. Yeah, I get what you mean about being careful already just on the short shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel.

I do too, just remember not to bring you firearm inside anywhere that serves alcohol in open containers (bars and such), cause NOPD task force will snatch you in a second for a felony.

Where to eat in NOLA
Central Grocery for a Muffuletta
Mother's for poboys and ettoufee
Dragos for char-broiled oysters...they have a lot of other great menu items, too.
La Boulangerie for pastries....you would have to take the trolley down St. Charles to get close enough to get there...worth the trip!
St. Roch Market for hip/trendy atmosphere and a variety of samplings. Highly recommend the NOLA Trio at Fete au Fete.
Turtles and pralines from Southern Candymakers.
Obligatory stand in line for beignets at Cafe du Monde.
Just a few starters....all carry friendly with the exception of the St. Roch Market....but, only if you get caught.....right?

The blue crab on the lake front is one of my favorites as well. They do a blackened red snapper that is second to none. Their oysters are excellent as well

Leave early for the airport and stop at Fisherman' s Cove. Same exit as the airport, go right on Causeway.

rabbit jambalaya if my memory serves me correct? Its good. Get the sampler plate. Their fried chicken was good too.
Many a bachelor party 2nd day starts off with a bloody mary and lunch at Coop's. Then some beers at that Irish bar next door. Then start drinking your way back to Bourbon for the shit show.

Re: Where to eat in NOLA
Ended up going to Acme and Dragos. Both great places, The grilled oysters at Dragos where the best oysters I've ever had! Thanks everyone for all of the recommendations next time I'll try some of the other places.
