 Gatortrax Gen II Hide
Hi, Anyone use one of these gatortrax hide genII where you sit in the chair bottom of the boat? From Midwest. Like the low profile blind. We hunt shallow water sloughs with cattails that get broken n half after first cold fronts and snow. Not sure how well This would work for us sitting in bottom of the boat snow, ice and really cold temps. Heat an issues? How bout the dog Cut a door in the middle? Looks like it Would be fun to fool some greenheads in this boat. Anyone have experience with this style rig?

 Re: Gatortrax Gen II Hide
I've got an open floor plan and use turkey hunting chairs. 24 bucks from academy and they have a good weight rating for the not so small hunters. Burlap over wind/waterproof canvas over some pvc, and some matching grass or limbs, and then you dont have quite the purpose built boat and can use it easier for other things. Also easier to clean since the deck isn't most of the boat.
That being said, they serve their purpose if that's what you want to go with and nothing wrong with that choice.
