 2020 Duck Season Has Begun Saturday was opening day so in keeping with tradition, took my wife out for a shoot.
It was a beautiful day, tons of fog, tons of ducks. If our shooting was better we'd have limited out, but we were too busy enjoying time together without the offspring.
Total was 6 ducks, and 4 Canada Geese.
Upon arriving home, the boy decided he wanted to explore the internal bits and remove all their hearts.
I'm told not to worry about it as long as he doesn't make a necklace with them.

Re: 2020 Duck Season Has Begun Just closed up the cabin. The lakes up there freezing up already! Crazy early.
Had to break ice last weekend to hunt the same lake. Always fun when you throw pull up anchor and it just slides across the op of the ice. Whoever said, "you can't push a rope" never duck hunted in Minnesota.

Today was -4°C and it was a battle to kill 6 birds. Took 6.5 hrs!!
