Anyone has been in an Cotton mouth bay boat?
I went an checked out Cotton mouth custom boats the other day. Looked close at the bay boat, the craftsmanship really impressed me(I been looking at gatortrax) Gatortrax are some well built boats with good craftsmanship. But man that cotton mouth was sleek! The hull is 1 peace precrimped an has a pad, kinda resembled a bullet the way the bottom of hull came together, maybe not exact degrees an measurements as a bullet but at glance that is what came to mind an I see a bullet every weekend in my in-laws shop! Has anyone seen these hulls? Has anyone had the chance to take a ride in a cottonmouth bay boat? How they handle in the rough, how they ride on pad, in turns? I been googling reviews but come up short handed. Thanks fellas!

You looking to put an outboard on the boat or mudmotor?
A long time ago, people were not happy with the "pads" built into the hull with mudmotors. But things may have changed.

Yea, an outboard , I shoulda been more descriptive, I know this is a mud motor forum , but the fine outstanding people on this forum knows hulls, custom work, an been around all sorts of hulls with loads of experience, even a few top notch builders in here! 20’ hull70” wide an a 200 sho on an 10” setback jackplate, this is the setup I’m looking at. But I don’t know of any one who has a Charles Leonard style hull.

go look at sporstsman's fabrication in morgan city. if they are still in buisness, they make a great bay boat that is exactly what u are looking for. rode in several. used to be, all the pad hulls were crimped in the same place, just differant boat builders build them to their own specks. i had a 20'er with a 200 built by charles leonard. was a great boat.
