Very first step is when you kill a rabbit season the meat prior to vacuum packing. Then the day of cooking defrost your rabbit as well as some deer ground meat and five slices of bacon. Begin in a cast iron skillet by frying your bacon. Get it nice and crispy but don't burn it. Once cooked chop the bacon finely. Put The rabbit in a oven preheated at 350. Cook for 45min-1hr Start some rice at this point using chicken broth as half of your liquid ratio. Drain skillet, Then begin cooking the ground deer meat. After lightly browning add the holy trinity of cajun cooking in as well as the bacon. Continue cooking until the vegetables become well cooked. At this point add chicken broth and you favorite seasoning and keep cooking it down.
