None of the above man. Just think it's funny that you criticize all these other guys who are just paying attention to what is going on and trying to make the right decision (whether both are wrong or not is debatable, but there is still really only two options as far as this argument is concerned), but you don't really have a plan yourself.

By your post, I'm guessing you are not going to vote at all? Just cuss the broken system and hope it gets better all on it's own? Nobody disagrees that we have some shitty options, but what are you gonna do about it?

Just giving you a hard time.

As far as the upcoming election, I'm looking at third party candidates like I do every year, I am currently leaning towards Goode at the moment. Not that it really matters, I live in a die hard red state, which means that effectively my vote doesn't matter at any rate, Romney will win this state. There are more than 2 options in this election if you can open your eyes and do something other than listen to your favorite talking head. The guys that are patting each others backs on these threads were going to vote republican before the candidate was even named. Do you honestly think they have made an informed decision? Have you read these posts lately? I would call most these guys a lot of things, informed isn't even close.

I hear what you are saying about there being more than two options, but in the grand scheme of things there is only two options that stand a fighting chance. Voting for a guy who stands no chance at actually winning doesn't do any goode (pun intended). Voting for the lesser of two evils with the options that you have is really all we've got. You are not gonna convince enough people to vote for an independent, it just isn't going to happen.

Most of them informed? Eh, somewhat. I think Ranger is pretty well informed, the rest not so much. Going to vote republican no matter what? Probably. I'm not very political myself, but I know there isn't much that the democratic party stands for that makes any sense to me at all. You can vote for the little guy if you want to, but unless you have the money to back them with a REAL campaign, I feel that you are just pissing in the wind. Maybe we all are, but I see a little bit of difference into pissin into a 2mph wind or pissin' into a hurricane.

Still don't see what either of you two are going to do to fix anything. You're just criticizing, but have no plan to get us anywhere different. Not trying to start a political mess, cause I surely am not big into politics, just saying that you two aren't really saying anything anymore than anyone else is. I am open to other options. All I know is the things that the democrats stand for is bassakwards from my view. I'm not really a huge fan of Romney either, but I like what he has to say a lot more than Obummer.

Post Re: 10/16 Debate
WM-

As to your claim that "rangerp is a republican". When did you start speaking for me?

I am not a republican, nor have I ever been one. I am not registered to any party. I am a Christian conservative. My views are grounded in the truth of the 1611 King James Version Bible, and I am an ardent believer in our Constitution. I took an oath to defend that constitution against enemies, both foreign and domestic. I have continued that defense for a quarter century.

You claim that I do not look at any other politicians, and that I push republican talking points. I think you should go back and read what I have placed on various MMT topics. I post facts, history, statisitcs, logic, and I use critical thinking. I do not cut and paste, I write my own material.

What good has Obama done for this country?

He jumped our debt by five trillion, but he ran on lowering it. He blames Bush, but fails to recognize that it was during Bush's term that we actually got attacked by Muslim terrorists. He also fails to mention that Sen. Harry Reid (dem) and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (dem) where full blown behind all of the spending during the bush years. Obama was a senator then, and he never called for a cut in spending. He also fails to mention that it was democrats forcing banks to loan money to people who were not qualified that created the mess we are in now.

He ended DADT, allowing degenerate sodomites to serve openly in our military. In world history, every nation that has accepted homosexuality as natural soon after fell. Homosexuals are only 2.5% of the population, but they have 64% of the nations syphilis, 57% of new HIV cases, they commit a third of the nations child molestations (Jerry Sandusky is homosexual), and have much higher drug, alcohol abuse, and suicide rates. He is now calling to actually change the definition of marriage, and allow the sodomites to marry.

He fired the head of GM in a symbolic move to show that he was destroying capitalism (GM was the crown jewel of capitalism). He told American businessman that "you did not built that", showing his disdain for businessman.

He declared his run for the senate seat in the house of a known terrorist (Bill Ayers). Ayers was a founding member of the Weather Underground, and desired to murder millions of American capitalists, and tried to spur a rebellion and actually blew up bombs at public locations. This is Obama's friend, and this man helped Obama write one of his books. You are the company that you keep.

Obama declared that a goal of NASA is to improve Muslim relations? Explain that one. In the US, Obama declared that "we are not a Christian nation", but in Egypt, he boasted that America is a Muslim nations.

During Obama's first term (hopefully his only) gas price has doubled, and he has continued to hamper us from drilling our own oil. When Romney talks about energy independence, Obama just frowns. Obama wasted billions of American tax dollars on companies like Solendra that produced nothing, and folded.

Obama was raised at the feet of Anti American Communists. He pays tribute in his memoirs to Frank Davis. Davis was an actual, real deal, card carrying communist member. These are the sort of people that mentored Obama.

Obama has jumped our welfare to 46 million people. He has no plan for fixing illegal immigration, and sued Arizona for thier efforts. He is looking to put more people on the system. You would do well to study Mao Zedong. He used the same rhetoric. He spoke against the rich, and told the poor peasant farmer that the rich were holding them down. Once in power, Mao killed 60 million of those peasant farmers. There is a reason that socialists like Obama want to disarm the civilian population.

Obama just declared in his last debate that he desires a ban on certain rifles, based on their looks. His voting record as a senator showed him to be anti gun. During this term, his folks sent untracked fire arms into Mexican drug cartel hands, and those same guns were used to murder American citizens.

Obama calls for Romney to release more tax records, but keeps his own college records sealed.

As far as Romney is concerned, he is far from my choice for president. While he may be fiscally conservative, he way to close to the center on most issues for my taste. That being said, Obama is on the extreme left side, over where the Marxist, Communists, and socialists hang out.

Romeny served as a republican in an ultra liberal state. he has a track record of working with both parties. You will notice that Obama jammed his healthcare down the throat of a nation that did not want it, and did not get so much as a single republican vote.

Romney never served a day in our military, and neither did Obama. The difference is that Obama is looking to destroy our military. he wants to cut spending, and instead of increasing lethality, he is more into social play ground crap, like allowing homosexuals to serve and sending females into the infantry. Romney wants to continue to build our defense. I believe Calvin Coolidge to be one of our greatest presidents, and he never served. LBJ served, and he all but destroyed our military, and pushed us closer into socialism than any other president in our history.

Romney is running with one major goal. He wants to cut taxes, and cut spending. Obama is telling us that we can spend our way out of debt, and his only answer is raising taxes, punishing the hard working, and rewarding the lazy. Socialism does not work, has never worked, and will never work. Our founding fathers never called for a distribution of wealth. Countries in Europe, like Greece and Spain are in a huge mess, because they have the type of economy that Obama is pushing on us.

As far as third party votes, they are a waste of a vote, and do nothing but help Obama. Had Ross Perot never ran, Bill Clinton would not have gotten elected.

You have to go with the lesser of two evils. Romney may not be my man, but I can tell you unequivocally, Obama is the greatest threat to the American way of life. If he is not stopped, he will move toward the destruction of America at a much more rapid pace in the next four years.

What makes you tick? What are you looking for from government and why? I do not care about political party, just interested in what you believe, and what you want.

RangerP: Don't ever try to post on Twitter; the character number limitation would frustrate you too much.

RangerP: I just figured out how you can be so prolific at writing political posts. Not exactly what I was expecting. Everyone try this...take a snippet of any sentence from RangerP's post above, copy it and paste it in your search engine to see what you come up with. Come on man, you can do better than that.

Dguidry - you lost me. I tried about ten snippets, and nothing of any significance came up?

As far as your comment - "Come on man, you can do better than that.". Does it bother you that I do not use the talking point and run strategy that libs use?

Heck, I am just proud that someone with Dguidry's level of education finds a kunckle dragging infantry dude to be prolific at writing political posts. Dog gone, I don't know that I have ever been called prolific at anything in my life.

I've been busy and spent a few days in hospital so excuse me for slaking in defense of my candidate. I'll try to pick up the pace. But you also have to remember I do this everyday for 8 hours and more a day so it's not fun for me to do it some more at home.

Dguidry - Sorry to hear you have been ill or injured. Hope you are recovering and feeling better. I will be sure to keep you in my prayers.

As far as our discussions, I do not want or need a candidate that I have to defend. Their actions, words, and record should stand alone without my defense. I want a candidate that defends me, the constitution, the American way of life, the American dream, our citizens, our interests abroad, our embassies, and our military. Obama does not defend those things, he attacks them, thus the reason the MSM always has to defend Obama, and not just report the news.

Once again, hope you recover soon.

Dguidry-glad you are out of the hospital hope you feel better.
Also I hope you dont have to go back in the next 30 days for anything related to that same admit, Because if you do Obama care will slam your hospital with a great big ass fine. And after that happens enough times from enough people it will cut back on availible health care until it closes.
